Does anyone know if any betting shop will offer odds that a major soccer country will not win the world cup?
I recently got involved in soccer betting following my keen interest in club soccer and having moved to the UK that interest has been taken to a new height. As the world cup is coming up in 2010, there are certain teams that one cannot write off as potential winners- England, Brazil, France, Germany, Italy.
If someone wants to bet any of these team will most certainly not go on to win the tornament- will there be any major betting establishment offering odds for this?

William Hill’s odds on the 2010 World Cup are at http://www.willhill.com/iibs/EN/buildcoupon.asp?couponchoice=FB1322603 .
If you want a price on one of England, Brazil, France, Germany and Italy NOT winning the tournament I’d go to your local Hills shop and ask them to give you a price.
It’ll be shorter than 5/1 though because that’s what they’re offering Argentina at, and obviously your bet would be for Argentina or the rest of the world, which is more likely.
There’s no guarantee they’ll offer you a price though — it would depend on how much you’re willing to stake I guess.
