newho, there is no connection between them. The Chiapas team is based in Tuxtla Gutierrez. The EZLN is deep inside the jungles of la Candona, there only attack was to the government building in San Cristobal de Las Casas. There is really no connection. Jaguares gets funding from the State of Chiapas, something that the EZLN dosent have, something that they are fighting for. So in no way does the EZLN benefit from the Jaguares team, its just a coincidence that both are in the same state thats it…..
BUT before Jaguares joined the FMF, there was a 2nd division team in Chiapas that had members of the EZLN and they played with their masks and all that. I dont know the actual team name, im assuming the EZLN, but they wore the masks and had thier shirts with the red star and the name "EZLN" no lie….check out a pic:
But as far as a connection between Jaguares and the EZLN….no connection. Plus Marcos isnt even in Chiapas right now, he is all over Mexico doing "La Otra Campaña".
hahaha to Gooner and IE gooner….
